Last Friday, the new GVC board members were officially appointed during the General Members Meeting. We are excited to welcome Marleen, Bruno, Elia and Bea to the board of the 2025-2026 season.
At the start of the season, GVC welcomed a number of new board members. Lars took on the role of chair. Luca became match secretary. Judd started as member secretary. And Riccardo became treasurer. Aris stayed on during the first half of the season as activities commissioner, helping the new board settle in.
Now, halfway through the season, a few new members have joined, making the GVC board of 2025-2026 complete. Marleen is the new general secretary, an important role as she is the main contact person for current members and external partners such as the KNVB. Bruno has taken on the new board position of social media manager, a role that is becoming more and more important these days (because if it’s not posted, it didn’t happen… so don’t forget to follow us!). Elia has stepped into the new role of strategy manager to help shape and set the plans for GVC’s future. Bea has taken over the position of activities commissioner from Aris, who supported the transition of the new board and has now stepped down. With this fresh and expanded team, GVC is well prepared for the upcoming activities, the lustrum, and all weekly trainings and matches of this season.
We want to thank Aris for everything he has done for GVC. He has been great to work with and brought strong people skills and problem-solving to the board. And as members of the club, we are thankful for the dedication and positive energy of everyone currently on the board!
